What it is
An off-grid alarm uses a solar or battery-powered control panel with wireless PIR detectors and door, gate and shed contacts. You do not need to cable anything across a yard. The panel signals over 4G rather than a landline, which most remote sites lack. It then pushes instant alerts to your phone.
Add sirens, strobes and an optional professionally monitored response. You can then protect a cluster of remote outbuildings as one system. Because it runs on battery with solar top-up, it keeps guarding the property through the power cuts that routinely knock out mains-dependent alarms.

Can an alarm work with no mains and no landline?
Yes, and that is what these systems are for. The panel runs on battery with solar charging. It signals over the 4G mobile network instead of a phone line. A building with no services at all can therefore still have an alarm and send you alerts.
What happens if the power goes off?
Nothing changes. The system runs on battery by design and tops up from solar. Unlike a mains alarm, it does not fall back on a small standby battery that runs flat, so it keeps protecting the property.
Can I get alerts on my phone?
Yes. Every activation sends a push notification to the app. You can also add professional monitoring so a manned centre responds too. That helps when a site is too remote for you to check quickly.
