Solar Floodlights & PIR Lighting

Solar-powered security floodlights and PIR lighting, installed for yards, gateways, car parks and stable blocks — no electrician, no mains, and nothing to pay to run them.

What it is

Solar security lighting pairs a high-output LED floodlight with a PIR motion sensor, a battery and a solar panel. It charges by day and triggers on movement — or holds a dusk-to-dawn glow — with no wiring back to a consumer unit and no metered electricity behind it.

Bright, sudden light is one of the most effective and cheapest deterrents against opportunist theft, and it sharpens night-time camera footage dramatically. Sensitivity, duration and brightness are all adjustable, so a gateway, a footpath and a loading bay can each be tuned to suit.

Where it fits

  • Farmyards, gateways and the approaches to remote barns
  • Car parks, loading bays and depot perimeters with no nearby power
  • Stable blocks, tack rooms and equestrian walkways
  • Construction welfare units, site entrances and footpaths

Why it works

  • No electrician and no trenching — fitted where mains lighting simply can't go
  • Free to run: nothing on the meter, ever
  • Deters opportunist intruders before they reach the building
  • Makes solar CCTV footage far clearer at night
  • Works on sites with no mains supply of any kind

Solar Floodlights & PIR Lighting — common questions

How bright are solar security lights?

Modern solar floodlights use high-efficiency LEDs that comfortably light a yard, gateway or car-park bay. We match the lumen output and beam spread to the area you need covered during the survey, rather than selling a one-size-fits-all fitting.

Will solar lighting work in winter?

Yes — like solar cameras, the lights charge from daylight and store it in a battery. We specify the panel and battery so motion-triggered lighting keeps working through the darker months, when you most need it.

Can lighting and cameras work together?

That's the ideal setup. PIR lighting triggered on approach both deters intruders and floods the scene with light, so your solar cameras capture a usable, identifiable image instead of a dark blur. We design the two together.
