The SolarMate Secure Professional is a solar powered security light with built in motion detector that will automatically turn the light on when someone comes near. It uses 45 LED’s, will illuminate 100sq meters and will stay illuminated for 6-70 seconds. It is easy to install even in places where there is no electricity. SolarMate Secure Pro is an efficient and easy way to provide motion activated security lighting (equivalent to mains brightness) where mains power does not exist, even in the depths of the British winter.
Using a powerful 2.5watt crystalline solar cell, the SolarMate Secure Professional’s solar panel powers an internal rechargeable battery pack, located in the light unit, during the day ready for operation once the sun goes down. The SolarMate Secure Pro light unit contains 45 super efficient white LED’s, which are powerful enough to illuminate an area up to 100sq meters away from the light unit.
Its integrated PIR movement sensor can be adjusted both for sensitivity and time, so the bulbs can burn from between 10 seconds and 70 seconds per activation.
The SolarMate Secure Professional’s light unit attaches to the Solar panel via a supplied 4.5m cable.

SolarMate Secure Pro Installation
Light
1. Ensure light is mounted on to a solid object, for example the side of a shed or a wall of a building.
2. Ensure PIR is clear of moving or flapping objects as these may cause false triggering.
3. Avoid installing it near areas of significant temperature change, for example: Air conditioning central heating etc.
Solar panel
1. You should install the solar panel where sunshine is not blocked during the majority of the day, for example away from tall buildings and trees.
2. Before first use: Once connected to the light, leave the light in the OFF mode for 3 to 4 days to allow the solar panel to fully charge the battery.
Switch functions
-Slide to ON position, the light will always stay ON.
-Slide to OFF position, the light will always be OFF (but charging will continue if the panel is connected)
-Slide to AUTO position, the unit will activate according to the settings selected on the LUX&TIME adjusters.
-The LUX dial determines the level of light required to activate the light. Turning the dial to the moon means the light will only work at night. Turning the dial to the sun allows the light to work during the day and night.
-The TIME dial can adjust the time the light stays on after activating from 4 seconds to 1 minute.
