Remove the 2 covers from the back of the Siren using a small crosshead screwdriver.
Make sure the MODE switch is set to MODE A on the control board inside the siren.
Place the battery in the top half of the siren and connect the black lead to the negative (-) terminal and the red cable to the positive (+) terminal.
Press the START button briefly on the back of the Siren. A red LED will flash approximately every 3 seconds through the blue panel on the front of the Siren.
Remove the back cover from the Remote Control and insert the battery included.
Remove the front cover from the PIR (motion sensor) and set the MODE switch to TEST. Insert the battery included. The red indicator will illuminate briefly to confirm the battery is installed correctly.
Remove the front cover from the Magnetic Transmitter and insert the battery included. The red indicator will illuminate briefly to confirm the battery is installed correctly.
Hold down the LEARN button on the back of the Siren and press any button on the Remote Control, press the tamper switch on the PIR Detector, press the tamper switch on the Magnetic Transmitter. Do this for all of your sensors and remote Controls within 30 seconds.
Note: 2 beeps will sound when each Remote Control or sensor has been successfully paired with the Siren.
TIP – Cover the PIR sensor with a dark cloth so that it does not pick up your movement when pairing the other devices.
Set the zones on each sensor by positioning the tabs up or down on the zone switch (dip switch).
See page 12 of the manual for zone descriptions.
Zone 1- 1 up, 2 down, 3 down
Zone 2- 1 down, 2 up, 3 down
Zone 3- 1 down, 2 down, 3 up
Zone 4- 1 down, 2 up, 3 up
Fit the covers back onto the sensors and place the Magnetic Transmitter and magnet side by side and turn the PIR (motion sensor) so that they are facing away from any movement. Do this on all of your sensors.
Activate the TEST / BATTERY CHANGE MODE:
- Press DISARM on the remote – 1 beep
- Press ARM on the remote – 3 beeps
- Press DISARM on the remote – 1 beep
- Press ARM on the remote – 6 chirps
Note: Each step above must be completed within 5 seconds. This means that the interval of each step must be with 5 seconds.
Test each sensor works by activating them individually:
- Move your hand in front of the PIR sensor. You should hear a number of beeps corresponding to the zone which has been set for that sensor.
- Move the Magnetic Transmitter away from the magnet to activate this sensor. Again, the number of beeps should correspond with the zone which has been set.
Once all the sensors have been tested and are set to the correct zones set all the PIR’s (motion sensors) to NORMAL mode
Press DISARM on the remote control
Press ARM on the remote
Check each sensor sounds the alarm siren when they are triggered**
Press DISARM on the remote control to stop the sirens / disarm the alarm. The alarm will beep up to 20 times.
Press PANIC on the remote to check that it sounds the alarm siren.
Now you can cover the back of the siren and fit it securely to an outside wall and fit the sensors to their new positions within your property using the fixings provided.
**Please note: The PIR (motion sensors) can take an initial 3 minutes to register after disarming the alarm and when it is initially set up. If at least 3 minutes have passed since the system was last disarmed, as in normal use, the PIR (motion sensors) will trigger the alarm immediately when the alarm is armed.
For more information, please see the instruction manual included with the alarm.
